AlgoSec, a leading provider of security management solutions has announced that it is delivering native cloud security management for Microsoft Azure Firewall, enabling another security option for users.

Both in the cloud, and for on-premises servers.

The firm has signed a technology collaboration agreement with Microsoft to offer interoperability between the AlgoSec Security Management Suite and Microsoft Azure Firewall. This, it says paves the way for a central security management solution in the cloud.

This new solution allows intuitive and effective central management capability for Azure Firewall, which is the new cloud-native firewall-as-a-service that Microsoft unveiled not too long ago.

Azure Firewall customers will now be able to consistently manage multiple instances of Azure Firewalls across different regions and multiple Azure accounts. While AlgoSec customers already have the ability to manage Azure security controls.

Anner Kushnir, VP Technology at AlgoSec on this unified security policy management approach:

“As enterprises accelerate their Microsoft Azure adoption strategies, they require a greater ability to manage all the security controls and devices that protect their deployments. The collaboration will enable enterprises to accelerate their Azure deployments, safe in the knowledge that they have full visibility and control over the security devices that protect their cloud estates.”

This collaboration between AlgoSec and Microsoft will provide customers of both companies with end-to-end visibility into their cloud estates.

Administrators and developers will be able to pinpoint their security risks and misconfigurations while at the same time facilitating connectivity troubleshooting and setting up comprehensive security policy management.

The AlgoSec cloud security management solution for Azure Firewall is set to become available for select customers this quarter, with public availability on track for the first quarter of 2019.

Azure customers can register for a private preview of the solution now.
