AnandTech.com installed Windows 8 on their new Retina Display MacBook Pro. The article contains several screenshots showing Windows 8 running on the new MacBook Pro at the notebook’s top resolution. They said that text on the display is very small at that display setting and that raising the DPI scaling makes the text more legible. They said booting of the system was very fast and Windows 8 was performing fluidy on the Macbook Pro. It will be very interesting to see if any of the hardware vendors come up a Windows 8 PC which has a resolution similar to the MacBook Pro. I would love to see Windows 8 PCs with a MacBook Pro like specs and performance. Windows 8 itself is very fast and with the right hardware it is capable of amazing performance. What do you think?]]>

ok, unfortunately you are wrong to assume that OS X runs on max resolution on the retina MBP which it does not, so making a direct comparison not fair. For those interested on more reading (http://www.macrumors.com/2012/06/21/running-the-retina-macbook-pro-at-full-2880×1800-resolution/)
