Well you can try it right now to see for yourself.You don’t even have to download or install it yourself, you can try a display model in a store like Best Buy.
There is one guy, one kid and one camera. What is he suppose to do zoom out so you can see his hands, he wanted to get a good view of the screen. How do you think he did it? He moved the mouse for his son and had a script for what a 3 year old kid to read? He could have zoomed out to see the kid and a more limited view of the screen and he opted to show the screen the best he could and not show his son. If this guy is using the mouse for his son and his son is acting, they’re doing a really good job.
Getting to start and opening an app – absolutely, any 3 year old can accomplish this. The pinning to the side control with a mouse is a little more difficult to achieve, but if his father coached him, then sure why not.
Windows 8 has been publicly available for more than a year now. That is more than enough time to teach any average 3 year old how to perform these tasks.
So, are you asking if this video is real because you doubt the ability of a 3 year old to use Windows 8? Or are you asking that because you knew it would generate page views? (And it sure did, since here I am commenting… 🙂 )

I believe its real. The kid was talking and by what he was saying sounds like he was actually using the computer at the time.
But they never showed his hands…
