Razer Edge Windows 8 tablet coming in Q1 2013 for $999

At CES 2013, Razer announced that their new Razer Edge tablet, running Windows 8, would go on sale later in the first quarter of 2013.

Razer’s press release states that the 10.1 inch tablet will go on sale in the first quarter of 2013 and it will come in two versions.

  • The first with an Intel Core i5 processor, an NVIDIA GT640M LE GPU, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 64 GB SSD. It will be priced at $999.
  • The second model, called the Razer Edge Pro, with an Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 128 GB or 256 GB SSD.

Pricing for the Razer Edge Pro has not been announced.

  • I was actually very excited until I finally got to the part where they tried to bury the screen resolution. Oh my, does it run on a 6 volt lantern battery as well?
