StumbleUpon is basically a service that offers a blend of a discovery engine with social touches. Clicking on the Stumble button takes you to random websites and webpages based upon your chosen interest.
The best part is that there are over 500 interests to choose from — meaning that plenty of new photos, videos and websites are just a tap (or click, if you will) away. The app also makes great use of the modern interface of Windows 8. The official description explains it best:

The free app supports all version of Windows 8 (x86, x64 and ARM). You do need devices (and displays) with a screen resolution of 1024×768 and higher because of the way this app is designed.
