Developer Miniclip has just rolled out a special promotion for a few of its Windows 8 games, and the selection includes the popular Gravity Guy that is on offer to both desktop and tablet users.
The game is offered with a freeware license. No idea when the offer will expire, so if you are reading this, stop doing so and head over to the Windows Store to download the game straight away.
Go on, I’ll wait.
Even with the freeware license, the complete gameplay experience is on offer — everything from amazing level design, crisp HD visuals, along with Xbox Live support for leaderboards and achievements.
A generous selection from the official description:
“In a world where gravity laws were broken, a brave guy, was held captive for defying the rules. Not happy, he decided to escape, being the first one to run for his life flipping gravity at will.
This fast paced and frustratingly addictive adventure features 30 challenging levels, and 3 different worlds, and guarantees you many long hours of fun! ”
The game also offer a local multiplayer mode (thank heavens!) for up to 4 different players to go with three game modes — Story, Practice and Endless.
All variants of Windows 8 are supported (x86, x64 and ARM), and the gameplay is completely optimized for tablet and touch based devices like the Surface RT and company.
