The Nokia Lumia 1020, the 41 megapixel Windows Phone 8 has a lot going for it. The latest flagship smartphone from the Finnish company offers a great combination of build quality and feature set, the most noticeable being its camera capabilities.

Nokia, Microsoft and AT&T have done a pretty decent job of raising awareness of the device, with a number of ads and TV commercials. And in order to further promote the device, Microsoft has just launched a new marketing effort, in the form of an interactive photo gallery.

You can find it here on the official Windowsphone.com website.

This special page allows users the option of viewing interactive albums of photos that have been taken with the Lumia 1020 — and the shots provide a pretty good glimpse of the imaging and zoom capabilities of the device.

As Microsoft notes on the page:

“The Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 1020 is the only smartphone with the breakthrough combination of a 41-megapixel sensor and Optical Image Stabilization, which allows you to capture details like no other smartphone camera in the world.”

Also included are a couple of videos that showcase what the Lumia 1020 can do.

And offering a look at what the device can do is not the only thing on the agenda here. The company has also links to the purchase page of the handset for users that are interested in buying this majestically impressive smartphone.
