Initially said to be ready for launch on November 15 in the United States, the Nokia phablet looks like it has been delayed for reasons unknown. The device will go live one week later than initially expected.
As we reported yesterday, customers were able to preorder the large screen smartphone on Microsoft Store. The preorder page stated that the AT&T branded Lumia 1520 would be flying off the shelves on November 15.
Microsoft, however, removed the device a few hours later, without any explanations.
The Lumia 1520 is no stranger to delays, mind you. Originally set for an unveiling on September 26 this year, the official reveal was pushed back to October 22 by Nokia. Well, if it keeps up this new date, it will be a full month since the handset was revealed that it will be available for users in the United States.
The folks over at WPCentral, in the meantime, got their hands on an internal document (an inventory listing from the Microsoft Store) that confirms that the Nokia Lumia 1520 will be launched by AT&T on November 22.
Alongside Nokia’s first phablet, the wireless network also plans to launch the company’s first ever tablet, the Lumia 2520 on this date.
This is the same date the Xbox One is expected to see daylight. Â So by all accounts, November 22 certainly looks set to be a momentous day for new hardware running Microsoft software!
By the same token, those of you looking to buy the Lumia 2520, but are not in a particular hurry might want to look out for Verizon’s Black Friday deal on November 29. Rumors suggest that Verizon will make the Lumia 2520 available at $100 off — meaning the tablet will be available for $399 in promotion.
None of this is official stuff, by the way. The only thing for sure is that Microsoft has stopped taking preorders for the Lumia 1520, but the phablet should soon be officially available.

This would be a great deal if the Surface had LTE, and it could be subsidized on carriers.
