Not many would have imagined that the original Surface Pro would be coming back into the spotlight after the release of the second generation slates, but here we are. Redmond has just launched a new contest for the Surface Pro.

This is open for everyone that purchased a Surface Pro tablet, and have to Windows 8.1.

Microsoft says that it is eager to hear more about how the tech savvy user are using the Surface Pro. The company wants to show just how adaptable the Windows 8.1 device is and how it can be used for a variety of different purposes.

For this reason, it calls for Surface Pro users to post a tweet revealing how they are using the device. Tweets should be sent out using the hashtag #geekoutsurface, by the way.

Four of these tweets will win a Surface Prize pack, which is in all probability a selection of accessories for the pro version of Microsoft’s premiere tablet. The company also plans to offer bonus points for pictures and videos that are submitted.

Oh, and keep in mind that the contest kicks off at 10:00 AM Pacific Time today and will end on 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 20, 2013, so get those cameras rolling if you are interested.
