Make way for another important app that has landed on the Windows Store. Over the past few months, Microsoft has been busy signing and renewing new partnership deals with notable companies, and these include development of official apps on its two platforms.
As a results official clients for Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Flipboard and more have made their way for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Now you can add another one to this list — TripAdvisor.
The popular travel ratings website is now a Redmond partner, and along with adding its user generated content to Bing search results, the company has also unleashed a dedicated new app.
Before we get any further, the official description:
“Millions of traveler reviews, photos, maps from TripAdvisor. Plan and have your perfect trip. With over 100 million reviews and opinions by travelers, TripAdvisor makes it easy to find the lowest airfare, best hotels, great restaurants, and fun things to do, wherever you go. And booking options for hotels, restaurants and flights are just a tap away.”
Technically, the app is called TripAdvisor Hotels Flights Restaurants, and as detailed above, it brings millions of reviews and opinion, travel tips, photos and videos right in the Modern UI.
Users can also find the best hotels, restaurants and destinations around the world. The free app comes completely touch optimized, and offers support for all flavors of Microsoft’s modern platforms, including ARM based ones.
