missed the mark by a little last year, Nokia has a lot to look forward to in 2014 with reports that the company is ready to unleash new models like the Lumia 1820, Lumia 1520V and Lumia 1525 — some of which have already been spotted on camera. In any case, the company has sent out invitations for a press event at the Mobile World Congress, set to take place in Barcelona on February 24. Word is that Nokia might announce a handful of devices at MWC 2014, including the rumored Nokia Normandy handset that is powered by Android. But most of the focus will be on its high-end handsets, including the 1820 that is said to be the company’s next flagship device. This smartphone features a 5.2-inch touchscreen display capable of pushing a 2K resolution, thanks to the Snapdragon 805 processor it houses. Along with the devices mentioned above, the company might also use the occasion to announce the Lumia 1525. This is a device that was reportedly planned for a late 2014 launch. Nokia has actually sold its devices and services business to Microsoft, and although the deal is yet to officially close, any new smartphones it launches will come from Redmond. We just may find out more about Windows Phone 8.1 leading up to the event, particularly if some of these new handsets sport 2K resolution displays. Windows Phone 8 vanilla is locked at 1080p displays, so if these reports hold true, Microsoft may have just finalized work on its newest mobile OS.]]>

  • I do not think names lumia 1520v, lumia 1525, and lumia 1820 are real because if they run windows phone 8.1 they should be part of the x30 series.

  • Open it up to all carriers not just ATT. This is why you didn’t reach your goal, because others couldn’t buy the Lumia 1520 or other phones. Open it up.
