Bing Homepage Gallery allows you to view images that were featured on the Bing homepage in the United States during the past 5 years, and many can be downloaded and used as wallpapers. Microsoft have also talked about the occasion in a new blog post, recapping the past five years of evolution and important milestones:

“On June 3rd 2009, we debuted to the world with a fresh approach to search – one that was anchored around the mission of empowering people with knowledge- helping them do more, not just search more. A lot has happened since that debut, so we wanted to take a moment to look back on where we’ve been and give a little sneak peek at what’s to come.”
It starts in 2009 when the company introduced semantic technology to create better and more relevant search results, and goes all the way to 2014 when the service became the backbone of Microsoft’s digital voice assistant Cortana. The post caps it off by thanking millions of people that use Bing, along with a video.]]>
