details posted on a forum, Windows 8.1 Update 2 was on track to reach the RTM stage this week. Word is that Microsoft had planned a very significant event for this week, between June 23 and 27, and most estimates are that the RTM build was to be signed off. If this is true, then the software titan might spend the next few weeks testing this second update to the operating system, before initiating delivery. File all of this as undercooked rumors for now, as we wait for official confirmation from Microsoft on what this feature update to the OS brings. Should not be too far away now.]]>

  • If this is true, should we expect the update within the next few weeks?! Or is it still on pace for late august?
