That’s quite a bunch! Many see Story Remix as a half-filled promise, what with its lack of currently available options, and then the news that it would not be part of the Fall Creators Update.
At least, not in the form that Microsoft showed and hyped.
But the good thing is that the Windows continues to work on this feature, and adding new and useful options to make this creative app stand out when it launches for Windows 10 users. And the latest news is that they have no less than 57 new special effects lined up for Story Remix.
This is according to the Italian blog, which claims that the version of the Photos app that is on track for arrival after the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update launches has a whole set of new features that are in the testing phases right now.
For starters, this new version of Story Remix ups the post production special effects from 10 to 57, providing users with new filters, transparency adjustments and audio enhancements.

Users enrolled in the Skip Ahead of the Fast ring development cycle release are set to see a refresh soon, one that goes by version 2017.39081.13720.0. They will be able to try these new effects, once this new version hits the Windows Store later today.
