Oh my! What are we going to do, for our Wednesday is ruined! Microsoft has confirmed that there would be no new Windows 10 Insider builds this week.
The company traditionally launches a new preview build in the Fast ring on Wednesday.
Allowing members enrolled in its Windows Insider program to test the next upcoming version of Windows 10 ahead of release, and check out the new features that are in development. But Redmond will be skipping a release this week.
And it’s not really a surprise, considering the fact that it is Thanksgiving in the United States on Thursday, and any people at the firm are taking the week off as it is already shortened.
This was revealed in the monthly webcast that the Windows Insider team held today from Canada — the first Insider webcast to be held outside the United States. And when someone asked about a new build this week, Brandon LeBlanc replied that there will not be.
Not really surprising, as the same thing happened last year too, and the years before.
Presumably, the team will be back on its regular schedule next week, and there is a solid shot that we will get to see a new build on November 28.
Another Wednesday, as every 19H1 build that arrived in the Fast ring was on a Wednesday.
