This recent obsession of Microsoft for html5/Javascript really begins to be annoying.
And html and Javascript, modern languages ?
I rather consider them as quite primitive languages.
As a developper i don’t think that i really like where Microsoft is aiming to.
I really appreciate Steven Sinofsky but i think that he and his team have been trying a bit too much to downplay .Net and this could seriously backfire. .Net has way more potential than will either have html N(with N>=5) and Javascript.
If correctly handles and optimizes .Net has the potential to be a fantastic applications development platform for Windows,Windows Phone and Xbox. Btw, it is time that Microsoft come with a more appealing name for Windows Phone as Windows Phone is quite an unappealing name.
