Microsoft released a new build – Windows 10 build (19041.208) to the Release Preview ring. This build is a new RTM candidate for the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004).
While that seemed to indicate the Windows 10 May 2020 Update was on the way, it looks like there has been a hiccup.

Update (April 30): As I mentioned on the Windows Weekly podcast recently, these dates were pushed back by Microsoft, possibly because the team wanted to patch a zero-day exploit before pushing the code to OEMs and users. I hear OEMs now are set to get the code May 5; developers on May 12; and general availability is slated for May 28. Again, Microsoft has not announced this officially and these dates may change yet again.
The update was reportedly slated for general availability on May 12, with the build starting to be released to OEMs and developers on April 28.
Those dates seem to have been pushed back.
As per the revised timelines, the software bits will now be released to OEMs on May 5, with developers getting their hands on the update on May 12. General availability is slated for May 28, 2020.
