And this report claims that Microsoft Canada President, Janet Kennedy has confirmed that Cortana will be available in the country before the end of the summer. Which is another way of saying that it might arrive with Windows Phone 8.1. He actually demoed Cortana during a lunchtime keynote address at the Canadian Telecom Summit. And it appears that while the previous plans were to fine tune the digital assistant service before launching it in more countries, the technology titan has had a change of heart. I like it. As an American, I think it’ll be better for the US market in the long run to build up buzz and work out the kinks in foreign markets before it’s officially released in America.
