Cortana, the digital assistant built into Windows 10, is all about the cloud. She can show you your content stored in the cloud, but if you don’t want that you can disable it easily.
This handy new option was finally added by Microsoft in the Fall Creators Update, where Cortana has her dedication section.
This tutorial shows you how to disable cloud content in Cortana in Windows 10.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to Cortana, and then navigate to the Performance & History section.
3. Under Cloud Search, you will see a toggle that says Windows Cloud Search. This option manages whether Cortana shows cloud content in Windows Search.
4. Simply turn it on or off, as you need.
