HP reveal their mystery Windows 8 tablet – the HP Elitepad 900

HP commercials? Well HP just let the cat out of the bag. It’s called the HP ElitePad 900 and it’s a 10.1 inch Windows 8 slate for the enterprise. It has a slew of features intended for business users like pen input, drive encryption and optional 3G / 4G. It has a machined aluminum back cover and 400-nit IPS display coated in Gorilla Glass. It weighs 1.5 pounds and measures 9.2mm thick and it runs an Atom-based Intel Clover Trail processor, with 2GB of RAM. The standard amount of runtime being promised is now 10 hours (thanks Apple). Some more features:

  • 32 or 64GB SSD storage
  • Screen resolution of 1,280 x 800
  • 8-megapixel rear camera
  • 1080p front camera
  • One slot for microSD cards
  • One slot for 3G / 4G SIMs.
No price announced yet but it’s expected in the US in January. Source]]>

  • This looks, like a lesser quality Ipad, n they complain when MS build their own tablet, these OEM r not Serious, I dnt care how impressive ur specs r but the hardware must be quality that I would feel proud holding.
