Let’s just hope that things get better from here. Because this is really something out of the ordinary. Windows 10 version 1809 is absolutely besieged by bugs, and things just keep going down a spiral.
At this point, it is fair to say that the October 2018 is the worst rollout in the history.
Of rollouts, perhaps.
Or at least, the Windows 10 operating system.
This newest iteration of the OS has been riddled with bugs and breakdowns, issues and problems, left and right — from files being deleted on their own, to compatibility problems with iCloud and driver issues with certain firmware.
But wait, that’s not all.
There’s more.
A nasty new issue has been discovered that prevents users from seeing the Seek Bar in Windows Media Player. Microsoft has acknowledged the problem very recently, and added it to its documentation for the latest cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1809.
Which was itself released on November 13.
This was a day one update for the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, going by the name of KB4467708, and the only known issue at that time was that users were not able to set default apps.
Anyway, with things noted, we can only hope that Microsoft is able to keep a better handle on things with Windows 10 October 2018 Update. The company probably will need to release a few more cumulative updates to get this mess sorted out.
