Microsoft and Nokia reportedly considering buying RIM

Wall Street Journal is reporting that Microsoft and Nokia have flirted with the idea of making a joint bid for Research In Motion Ltd. It’s not clear what the status of the talks is at this point but apparently the talks did happen. RIM has struggled with service outages over the past year culminating with a major worldwide outage this October.
