In a bid to help more businesses test drive the enterprise features included in upcoming versions of Windows 10 Enterprise, Microsoft has just unveiled a new initiative.
Dubbed the Windows Insider Lab for Enterprise.
Another business focused extension of the company’s preview program, this comes after the software titan opened up the Windows Insider Program for Business back in April of this year in order to better support the IT professionals and business users in the Insider community.
And as noted by ZDNet, the company is currently piloting this new program for select Windows Insiders for Business customers that are already running the test versions of Windows 10 Enterprise.
These users will now be able to try new Windows Enterprise preview features, at the same time that they are being developed.
Features like Windows Information Protection (WIP), Windows Defender Application Guard (WDAG), and Host Intrusion Prevention Systems are some of the enterprise specific Windows 10 features that are available for test drive via this new initiative.
It’s a select club, right now, though.
Entry into the program is on an invite only basis currently, but interested parties can enroll in the pilot by checking out this survey. Those who enroll here will get access to the virtual corporation that Microsoft has set up, Olympia Corp.
Sounds really intriguing.
