The anticipated Nokia World event is almost a month away, but rumors about what will be on show at the event are already spiraling out of control. Now it appears that the company is preparing no less than six new devices.

It was just yesterday that the event was confirmed to take place in Abu Dhabi on October 22.

But unlike previous occasions, Nokia has not really dropped too many hints on what we can expect to see in this event, and what sorts of announcements the company has in store for us.

Sure there is a very distinct possibility that the company will publicly unveil its first ever phablet (the Lumia 1520) and its first Windows powered tablet (the Lumia 2520), but considering the fact that this is probably the biggest annual Nokia event, there just has to be more in store.

And now the folks over at The Verge have shared the event plan.

It appears that the company will be unveiling no less than six devices at the Nokia World 2013 event, at least two of which are Lumia devices. A new range of accessories is also expected to be shown. In fact, one of them is said to be pretty special.

The above report cites a source familiar with Nokia’s roadmap that claims the company plans to unveil a large range of form factors and devices — most of them expected to be powered by Windows Phone.

Stay tuned for more on this as we approach the event.
