Office 365 Subscribers Now Get Unlimited OneDrive Storage

limited to 1TB. With Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella putting maximum focus on Office 365, a move like this was always on the cards. This remarkable upgrade in storage is available for both consumer and business versions of Office 365, the cloud powered suite of productivity applications. Microsoft announced the good news in a short post on the official Office blog:

“Today, storage limits just became a thing of the past with Office 365.  OneDrive and OneDrive for Business will now offer unlimited storage—at no additional cost—to our Office 365 consumer and business customers.”

Nonpaying OneDrive customers still have to make do with 15GB of free space, before they hit the cap. However, a lot of users that were on the fence with the two products are now going to pull the trigger. Unlimited storage is unlimited storage, no matter how you put it. One thing is for sure — this upgrade is going to put a lot of pressure on other cloud storage providers, including Dropbox, for instance, which charges $9.99 for 1TB of storage.
