The hardware is coming, hopefully the software holds up! Samsung has joined the Windows Mixed Reality party with what looks like its very own solution that is said to be coming soon.

Interestingly, the Korean company is rather mum on it right now.

With barely a noise.

Even as companies like Dell, Lenovo, and ASUS have hyped up their creations, while Acer and HP have already released theirs in early form, ahead of the official launch of these headsets next month — along with the arrival of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Nevertheless, Microsoft leaking sensation, WalkingCat is here with hints.

According to the leaker, Samsung is all ready to throw its proverbial hat in the Windows Mixed Reality ring, with an HMD that looks rather stylish, and probably features the same level of hardware specifications as the others alternate headsets.

One thing that sets this Samsung device apart, however, is that this one comes with built-in headphones, and this is something that only the 3Glasses HMD offers.

Samsung is no stranger to the virtual reality space, though, and it probably has the biggest name recognition among Microsoft hardware partners. Whether that can translate to sales remains to be seen, but it’s nice to see some hustle here.

As for pricing, expect this one to be priced anywhere from $299 to $450, very much in line with the other Windows Mixed Reality headsets that we saw at IFA 2017.
