Surface Pro 3 Goes On Sale Tomorrow, Starts At $799

tablet might only be available in the US, in limited quantities, Microsoft have confirmed that it will go on sale in 26 other countries by the end of August. Here is a list of all the Surface Pro 3 models, their hardware specification and prices:

  • Intel Core i3, 64 GB and 4 GB of RAM ($799)
  • Intel Core i5, 128 GB and 4 GB of RAM ($999)
  • Intel Core i5, 256 GB and 8 GB of RAM ($1,299)
  • Intel Core i7, 256 GB and 8 GB of RAM ($1,549)
  • Intel Core i7, 512 GB7 and 8 GB of RAM ($1,949)
In terms of hardware, the new tablet comes with a few neat enhancements. Magnesium might be the primary color of this tablet, at least of the demo unit used in the event, but the biggest improvements have been reserved for the touch pen support on the device. The Surface Pen stylus now comes with a button that takes a screenshot when pressed (or clicked). Improved recognition of entered text is also in, as are some refreshes to the Windows 8.1 build of OneNote, which can be used to take notes and store them in the cloud.]]>

  • $800 seems pretty expensive, but it looks pretty awesome. I can’t wait to for this long, so it’s good they’re releasing it suddenly! Ha

  • I can ALMOST understand the price of the device, but I still question if the covers really take as much to make as Microsoft is charging for them
