Flash is pretty much the biggest culprit as far PC security is concerned, even with Adobe trying to keep up with patches. This Windows 10 tutorial will show you how to check for when an update is available.

You will need to open Control Panel for this.

1. Go to Control Panel.

2. Make sure you are in the Icons view.

3. Click on the Flash Player link to open up a dedicated settings panel.

4. Go to the fourth tab, which should read Updates.

5. Here, take note of your player version, and then click on the Check Now button next to it to open up your web browser that will take you to the official Adobe Flash Player website. Simply compare your version here to confirm if it’s the latest one, if not then install the available update.
