seems to be on about, saying that a new version is about to be unveiled in just a few hours from now. It will, in all probability, only bring along some minor changes, if at all. Still, it is worth keeping an eye on just for the laughs and giggles. Windows 8.1 Update 1 Build 9600.16608 is reported to have been compiled recently, and even if the leak does not happen soon, screenshots should arrive in the very near future. Speaking of near futures, Microsoft has, as you may have read, delayed this new version of the operating system to April. It was earlier scheduled to be launched in March. Details are rather scarce on everything this refresh of Windows 8.1 brings around, but Redmond looks set to emphasize on the desktop, while at the same time enhancing the Modern UI environment for traditional keyboard and mouse users. This version that is (reportedly) about to be leaked will most likely fix some of the bugs in the earlier builds. The leaked version, for instance, was compiled three weeks back, in early January. And maybe Microsoft will actually rename SkyDrive to OneDrive in this new build, who knows?]]>
