There are a host of new features that will be introduced in Windows 8.

This post will talk about Windows 8 Federated Search

Microsoft are spending a lot of time and money making this operating system a lot slicker faster and more efficient than Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.

This is part of a series of posts that I’ll be putting in place to kind of stake out the features I believe will be in Windows 8

Below, I will try and summarize each feature for you so that you can get a comprehensive overview of what I believ will be a new Windows 8 features.

Federated search lets users search remote data sources from within Windows Explorer and work with that remote data.

It’s a good bet that Windows 8 will have federated search.
