The Windows Store may still be in its infancy, and there may still be a few months left for its first birthday, but that does not mean that Microsoft’s apps repository is without its defining apps.
Clouder! is one such app that has an awful lot going for it. Intuitive design combined with impressive feature set makes for a very high quality application that is perfect for music lovers and users of the SoundCloud service.

“Clouder! allows you to browse thousands and thousands of SoundCloud tracks. Electronic, hip-hop, house, dubstep, rap, drum and bass, pop, rock, … and some exclusive songs from the best artists!
Listen to your favorite artists, from Skrillex to Deadmau5 and explore new playlists shared by SoundCloud users. Connect to your SoundCloud account to access your personal dashboard, flag tracks as your favorites and follow artists you like.”
Users get the ability to browse and listen to SoundCloud tracks, as well as the option to share them with their friends and contacts. The app also has search and download options built in, along with a personal dashboard. Following artists and flagging tracks as favorite round up the feature set rather nicely.
The newer updates fixed access to categories from the profile page, as well as language translations in Korean and Dutch. The free app supports all Windows 8 platforms, including x86, x64 and ARM.
