Another day, another image editing app. This time the app in question is a popular photo editor called Fotor, which has already registered a large number of downloads and high ratings across the board.

It will not be an overstatement to say that this is one of the best Metro image editing apps around. The amount of features and options is extensive — editing tools, visual effects, frames, text, collages and more come together in one outright amazing package.

The official description:

“Perfectly combine the windows 8 user experience with cutting-edge tools including Basic Editing Tools, Brilliant Visual Effects, Frames, 1-Tap Enhance, Collage, Text, Tilt Shift and Raw Converter, all bundled together in one powerful package!”

The latest update to the app that just went live recently brings with it improved support for EXIF data for the processed photos, along with a brand new resize feature to configure side adjustments quality options when saving new images.

The new build also adds keyboard control. And what would an update to a mobile photo editing app be without new effects — there are several new ones included in this new version, along with a Favorites section for easier management.

And according to the official release notes, Fotor now allows users to set a bigger size for the default Text user input and limited the maximum amount of words to prevent crashes or other bugs.

Fotor is available for free and supports all Windows 8 processors, including ARM.
