You never can have enough photo editing applications, particularly if they are free. While professional solutions are another matter entirely, casual photo editing applications come with their own unique filters and effects library making them worth a try.
And with the explosion of digital photography, there is no reason for users to unleash their creativity.
Peculiarly titled, KVADPhoto+ is one of the many photo editing applications available on the Windows Store, promising both basic editing to advanced adjustments using filters and effects.
The official description, unlike the name itself, is simple enough:
“KVADPhoto+ is utilized by both amateur and professional photographers who seek simple, but powerful image processing on-the-go. Users can turn their devices into a fantastic photo editing studio that allows them to mix operations, clips and effects.”
This free feature-rich app offers a simple and dark user interface (perfect for photo editing) that makes good use of transparency. All the tools are listed at the bottom, providing easy access.
Interestingly enough, along with the basic toolset, the app also offers advanced options like the creation of Action Sets — which allows recoding the actions and applying them on other photos. Quality and DPI settings are also available, as is support for usual image formats like JPG, PNG, BMP and TIFF.
The latest update fixed a number of bugs along with bringing two new filters, among other things. And like all good apps, this one offers support for all version of Windows 8 including ARM builds.
