There are a bunch of Lock Screen apps available on the Windows Store, and countless ones that offer the ability to create lists. What do you get when you combine them both? Lock Screen List, of course.
This interesting little app that very recently marked its arrival on the Windows Store allows users of Windows 8 (and Windows 8.1 too) the ability to customize the text that is displayed on the Lock Screen of Microsoft’s newest platform.
Here is the official description in its entirety:
“”Lock Screen List” helps you customize text displayed on your Windows lock screen. Even when you lock your device, you still can see important notes right next to the current time on your lock screen. You can also customize how your list will be displayed in 5 different ways and you can put up to 10 items on the lock screen (this option only available when a full app is purchased.)”
The app is offered for free, but as noted above, some features require a premium license. It is, for all intents and purposes, a to-do list application with a fancy twist. But nevertheless, even with a simple design, it offers a few configurations option to easily change the text that is displayed.
It is available for all versions of Windows 8, including Windows RT, meaning it can be download and installed on Surface RT and other tablets.

pretty useless. There is no need to have a lockscreen. I got mine disabled.
