Boy, the Lumia 1330 surely has taken over from a handset in limb, the McLaren, also known as the Lumia 1030. The former is leaked on a regular basis these past few weeks.

And even though Microsoft remains completely mum on this successor to the Lumia 1320 phablet, a couple of pictures that recently made their way to the web confirm that this device does indeed come with a 5.7-inch screen, as expected and reported.

These new photos, once again, come from a land called China and show the Microsoft branding on the back of the device, confirmation that Redmond is ready to expand the Lumia series.

Feast your eyes on these:

Technical specifications of the Lumia 1330 still remain the same.

That is to say, a capacious 5.7-inch display running at a bearable 720p screen resolution. The idea being to steal some of the thunder of other phablets that are currently available in the market in the form of the Note 4 or iPhone 6 Plus.

The affordable price tag is primarily how the Lumia 1330 aims to compete with these handsets.

Only 1GB of RAM is expected to be on offer on this device, which by most estimates, could make its debut in the first couple of months of the year. January or February, it seems.
