Well after a (surprisingly) smooth drive from California, I’m in Vegas baby!

I’m staying at the Monte Carlo hotel on the Vegas strip and I have to say, it’s not too bad.

I’m surprised because Vegas doesn’t really look that busy but maybe it’s just me.

Anyway, tomorrow will be a busy day.

I’m obviously looking forward to Steve Ballmer’s (last) speech at CES tomorrow because that’s 90% of the reason I’m here.

I’ll be in and out of the press room at the Venetian and the schedule will be as follows..

Monday, January 9, 2012

9 – 9:45 AM
Galileo 1002, The Venetian
Intel: Intel Media Conference

2 – 2:45 PM
Lando 4201, The Venetian
Samsung: Samsung Press Conference at CES 2012

3 – 3:45 PM
The Venetian, Ballroom A
Nokia: Nokia Press Conference

I have a few more private sessions with some vendors and depending on how relevant they are, I’ll bring you the updates as they happen.

Of course there are a ton of other products and vendors at the Venetian showing their wares but these are the ones that I am really looking forward to.

Off to bed.

Bring on Windows 8 Beta.
