“Custom Support is provided to large, enterprise customers whose migration from Windows XP was not complete by April 8, 2014. It is a temporary measure designed to help large customers with complex migrations. It should be considered as a last resort for customers who are in the process of migrating from Windows XP to a modern operating system.”
As part of these recent agreements, Microsoft is set to provide extended support for products like Windows XP, Office 2003 and Exchange 2003 for a period of 12 months. One might imagine that most of these companies will upgrade all their PCs by this time next year.   • I agree. A lot of the people not making the moves aren’t going to have half the problems they think they will in an upgrade. At least if you’re not doing 100% upgrade, examine whether there is really a need to keep ALL your systems on XP
