And the signs are already showing with a number of new devices unveiled at Computex 2014. None as fascinating as the Emdoor EM-I8080, though — a Windows 8.1 Bay Trail tablet priced at the magical mark of $100. The tablet comes powered by what people colloquially call the full version of Windows. And it brings some pretty decent hardware specifications, for the price, at least. You get an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels, a quad-core Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735E processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The processor flies at 1.33GHz normally, and at 1.83GHz in turbo mode. Obviously, you get what you pay for. But in this case, these hardware specifications are pretty okay for regular day to day tasks like checking email, a casual game or two, browsing the Internet, watching videos and simple productivity tasks. Oh, and if you were wondering, these are the same guys that promised to make a $60 Windows tablet a reality this year. More power to Emdoor, I say.]]>

Does it have a full size USB port?
I hope they come out with one with more memory and a stylus. I’d pay $299 for 32gb, with a professional (Wacom type) stylus. That would be awesome.
Seems like a nice idea for a cheaper option. However, you mentioned that you get what you pay for, and I’m not going to trust a tablet for this price at this point at time.

Somehow I cannot find on net when it is going to be GA. At the moment it looks to be better to buy Onda V819i and wait for Onda to release W8 firmware which they promise to release in June.
