Finally the prayers of MILLIONS of PC users have been answered.
Microsoft have finally put together a Surface Docking Station for their new line of Surface tablets.
The Surface Docking Station is large and block looking (kinda reminds me of the Xbox One), framed by two wings that fit on either side of the docked tablet. It includes three USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, audio in, audio out. It can also power two monitors.
You can connect a display to it through a mini DisplayPort dongle, or use a wired connection through the ethernet port.
Unfortunately for Surface RT and Surface 2 users, the new docking station will will only support Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2.
This is a move that Microsoft arguably should have made long ago as the first generation of Surface devices needed to rely on the mercy of third party docking stations for any kind of monitor and keyboard connectivity.

“Finally” and “Should have made long ago” wow, the surface hasn’t even been out for a year. It is so easy to comment on what others should have done, I know, I’m doing it now and it is effortless but is it necessary?
