Since becoming a devices and services company, Redmond has aggressive outlined its retail strategy, and one thing that the company is heavily focusing on is opening up as many retail stores as it can.

A number of new Microsoft Store locations have opened in the first few months of the year, with even more set to in the near future.

Microsoft has recently announced that it will be open a new store in Michigan at the Somerset Collection North in Troy on June 28. And the first few people that show up will get free tickets to a live Kelly Clarkson concert.

The invitation from the company reads something like this:

“Join us for a live performance by Kelly Clarkson and show off your best dance moves on Kinect. Join us for all the festivities at The Somerset Collection, including a special performance by Kelly Clarkson near the Microsoft Store.”

If you live near the area and plan to attend the opening, then make sure you go early. Microsoft is going to give the first 100 people waiting in line in front of the store two tickets for a meet and greet session with Kelly Clarkson — along with tickets to her concert, of course.

If not, then the next 1,250 people who get in line will be eligible for two tickets to the concert.
