As promised, Microsoft has released the first ever Windows 11 build to Insiders rolled in the Dev channel. Unsurprisingly, it is huge on features, though it missed out on a few.

This build will head to devices that were enrolled in the Dev channel of the Windows Insider Program before June 24. Redmond has an explainer about which devices will receive the build today, which you might want to give a scan.
Since this is the first Windows 11 build, it stands to reason that not all features announced at the event last week have made the cut. The most notable exception being the ability to run Android apps on Windows 11, which surely the software titan is still working on.
Redmond has said that all features will eventually be added to the Insider builds, so it is only a matter of when, not if.
This build, however, does include the new Settings app and the modern File Explorer that was spotted last week. Both of these were not shown off during the event last week, and are a welcome addition to the operating platform.

Microsoft is also releasing new versions of the Office apps for Office Insiders to mark the occasion.
Lastly, the company has also launched a website called Insider Windows 11 that aims to provide behind the scenes information and insights into the development of the new operating system. This new site will house new inside stories that will be posted on a biweekly basis.
