Reorganizations, particularly for companies as big as Microsoft, usually are a case of do or die. Otherwise, what’s the point? Redmond is currently in the process of such a change in direction.

This, along with its quest to land a new CEO, seems to have impacted its ranking in one particular list.

Sure this rankings are as subjective as they come, but the software titan has slipped by a margin of 9 positions from last year in Fortune’s newest ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ list. All said and done Microsoft enters the worldwide list this year at position 86.

According to the report, this is what makes Microsoft among the very best:

“What makes it so great? The software giant covers 100% of health insurance premiums for employees and all their dependents.”

I am sure there are a thousand and one other benefits of working at Microsoft, as countless people worldwide dream about getting a job at the technology giant.

Speaking of other technology companies, Google leads the top spot this year. Second place is software giant SAS, Salesforce.com at number seven and Intuit is ranked eighth to round up the technology heavy top ten in this year’s rankings.
