One of the more exciting hardware out there in existence is now within reach. That is if you have a shade under $1,800 lying around. The Dell Canvas 27 is now up for preorder.

Designed to offer a similar (some would say better) experience than the Surface Studio, this Dell creation is meant to be a supplement to your existing Windows 10 PC. The company recommends the Creators Update for optimum experience.

This video below shows what this creativity focused machine brings to the table, pun and all.

The Canvas also comes with a pressure sensitive pen, of course, along with a ring totem — the company’s very own version of the Surface Dial.

It sports a 27” QHD LCD panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, Adobe RGB for accurate colors, along with a 20-point touch recognition system. The standalone display is protected by an antiglare Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

Obviously, Dell is targeting artists, designers and those who are involved in content creation with this device, which is meant to be used as in addition to an existing display in order to provide a larger creative workspace.

Unlike the Surface Studio AIO, which is an all-in-one solution.

You can get it directly from Dell, with prices starting at $1,799.
