The feature is finally here! Cloud Clipboard had been expected to come to Windows 10 for a while now, with talk that it would be featured in the upcoming Redstone 4 update to the OS.
That was delayed and held by for the next version.
Redstone 5, that is.
And now there are signs that Microsoft is finally ready to let Insiders try this handy new option out.
The most recent preview version, which is the Windows 10 Redstone 5 build currently available on the Skip Ahead channel, comes with evidence of this feature. There’s a new section that provides us with an early look at how the Cloud Clipboard is implemented.

Basically, the Cloud Clipboard section is available under Settings > System and comes with two options that define how the feature works. It can either be set to automatically kick in whenever something is copied to the clipboard, or manually share content from the clipboard history.
That can be done by pressing Windows + V keys and choosing what to send to other devices.
Cloud Clipboard works just as how you would expect — as an upgraded version of the traditional clipboard that uses the power of the cloud to copy and past content from one device to another. In other words, you can copy text or files from a desktop PC to a tablet or phone.
As long as the devices are using the same Microsoft Account, of course.
From the looks of things, the feature seems to coming along nicely.
