The country or region you set in Windows 10 defines the overall experience you get in the operating system, as Windows and other apps provide you with additional and customized content for a particular location.
Most services use this information to provide local coverage like news and weather.
Windows refers to your geographic location as GeoID, and you can change or switch your country or region at any time.
This tutorial shows you how to do that.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Click on the Time & language icon, and then select the Region & language option on the left side of the panel.
3. Choose your location from the dropdown menu available under the Country or region section.
4. You can also modify this from the Control Panel, by clicking on Region in icons view, then going to the Location tab in the window that pops up, and then making your selection from the dropdown menu that says Home location.
