Windows 10, by default, to require users to sign in when the computer wakes up from sleep or hibernation. You can, obviously, modify this option and turn sign in on or off.
You must be signed in as an administrator to make these changes.
This option can be changed in the Settings app, and will only be available if you the particular account has password set up. Then whenever your PC wakes up from sleep or hibernation, the operating system will ask you to enter your password to get access.
Here’s how you can enable or disable sign in on wakeup in Windows 10.
1. Open Settings, and go to Accounts.
2. Click on Sign-in options on the left side, and then select Never to turn this option off. To enable it, simply select the When PC wakes up from sleep from the dropdown menu.
