Narrator, the screen-reading app built into Windows, is one of the most helpful utilities included in the operating system. It can read all the elements on screen, including text and buttons.
You can turn Narrator on or off for your account, and even have it start automatically every time.
Here’s how.
1. Open Settings.
2. Click or tap on the Ease of Access icon.
3. Go to Narrator, and turn the feature on or off from this panel.
You can also have it start automatically.
Another quick way to turn Narrator on or off is by using the keyboard. Press the Win + Ctrl + Enter keys to toggle the option on and off. You can also press the Caps Lock + Esc key combination to exit it while the Narrator is running.
