Toshiba and HP have unveiled several new such devices in the past couple of months. But this highly affordable machine takes it to another extreme, by costing just $200 — and you get one free year of Office 365 Personal and a $25 Windows Store gift card to go with your purchase. Here are the basic hardware specifications:

  • 2.16 GHz Intel Celeron processor
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 32 GB storage
  • 11.6-inch screen
  • 1366 x 768 pixels resolution
  • 8.25 hours battery
Standard connectivity options are also in, including WiFi and USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. The HP Stream 11 may not be up for more resource intensive processes, but for basic computing tasks like email, web browsing and documents, the machine can stand on its own. Combined with the flexibility of Windows 8.1, this laptop may well interest students and kids. Take a look at it here on Amazon.]]>

Thanks for the heads up, Hugo, will fix it in a moment.
