documents unearthed on the company’s official website reveal this as only the second laptop to come with the Mullins platform. The first was, of course, the HP Pavilion 10z. Although not as budget friendly as this upcoming model Stream, the Pavilion retails for $250. Here are the rest of the hardware specifications of this upcoming budget laptop. A 14-inch display, 2GB of RAM under the hood, with either 32GB or 64GB of eMMC solid state storage. Connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI out, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. HP even found a way to include a 720p webcam to go with Beats audio. A juicy 32Whr battery to go with Windows 8.1 as the operating system complete this very enticing deal, but an offer of 100GB cloud storage for two years via Microsoft OneDrive only sweetens it.]]>

I think the best thing that could come about is some type of Surface laptop or some other type of ARM based Windows Laptop. I do think the Surface is a much better device than an iPad, but the only problem with it is that in desktop mode, a Windows tablet doesn’t really much like a tablet. I guess it does make sense with a mouse and keyboard, but full Windows is so much more complex than tablets and chromebooks. I do enjoy my surface RT. It at least is taken care of 95% of virus online by not using x86 system. So I feel safer to use it in public network.
