Lumia Sales Actually Grew Year On Year In Q2 2014

So a calculated estimate is that more than 8 million Lumia devices changed hands during the second quarter of 2014, which if true, marks an improvement in shipments from the same time a year ago. Overall, however, sales came in a bit lower when compared to the last two quarters, which is not too surprising keeping in mind the gap between launches of new Lumia smartphones. With handsets like the Lumia 630, Lumia 635 and Lumia 930 now out, and depending on how quickly the recently announced Lumia 530 makes its way to the market, sales should, hopefully, be a bit more for this current quarter.]]>
